Events

The next Northampton Microlight Club meeting is on the first Tuesday in September - Tuesday 7th September 2010. The meeting will be at Sywell this month. We will meet in the bar at The Aviation Hotel just before 7.00 pm and then take a tour of The Sywell Aviation Museum - donation to the Museum to be paid out of Club funds. There will then be a buffet after the tour in the bar. Please let Charles Madden know if you intend to come to the meeting for numbers for the buffet. The buffet cost is £8.00 per person but we hope there will be a small Club subsidy for this to be negoitiated on the night.

Northampton Microlight Club Fly-in at Pitsford

Following the successful May Fly-in.
All welcome. No PPR required.
Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.
Camping.
Air and Ground Competitions.
Trophies for winners.
There will be a couple of 'treasure' hunts plus the usual NMC ground games.
(You will need a digital camera for one of the hunts).

Landing Fee. Donation (suggested £5.00) to be split between the very worthy charity The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and Fly-in costs.

Parking should be easier than May. Please try and park as tightly as possible.

Camping - no tents on the strip please.

There will be a Catering Van on site so food and drink will be available throughout the day.
Mogas will be available.

Friday night - local pub.
Saturday - party in club tent.

- turbulence if wind southerly
- Sywell Airfield to the east
