IMPORTANT NOTICE - CLOSURE OF WESTON UNDERWOOD FROM 31.12.2009

Following the tragic death of Nigel Finn-Kelsey this strip was operated by the Northampton Microlight Club. We had hoped for many years' use, but this was not to be. The whole farm was subject to a new tenancy agreement and aviation does not form part of the deal. The Club's tenancy on the field containing the airstrip was not renewed for 2010. All flying at Weston Underwood therefore ceased on 31st December 2009.

The Club is currently looking for another suitable airfield as a base.
